Special Practicum Placement

Individuals seeking housing for the duration of their healthcare or other short term work placements, will be accommodated in a Shared Double room or a Super Single room in Rice Residence and will be enrolled in the Flex Dollar Meal Plan.

Housing & Meal Plan Details

Housing Details: All Rice apartments have a shared bathroom and kitchen. Kitchens are equipped with a range and full-sized refrigerators. All bedrooms within the apartment are private with a lockable door. 

Residents are responsible for providing their own:

• Towels and face-cloths
• Bed Linens
• Soap and toiletry items for personal use
• Detergent for washing clothes and laundry bag/basket
• Coat Hangers
• Telephones
• Kitchen utilities (utensils, pots, pans, etc)

Meal Pan Details: All residents are required to have the Flex Dollar Meal Plan. Flex Dollars can be used at any retail dining location across campus.

Residence and Meal Plan Fees:

Agreements are charged in full-week increments. Fees are as follows:

• Rice Super Single: $350 per week
• Flex Dollar Meal Plan: $262.50 in Flex Dollars
