Canadian Forensic Psychology Virtual Conference
Canadian Forensic Psychology Virtual Conference
Saint Mary's University is thrilled to be hosting the 5th Annual Canadian Forensic Psychology Virtual Conference on
Friday, February 7th, 2025,
(the precise time will be specified at a later date).
We are delighted to announce that our keynote speaker will be Dr. Tess Neal, presenting, "Eight Best Practices for Psychological Assessment". Our invited symposium includes Dr. Joseph Eastwood, Dr. Christopher Lively, Dr. Kirk Luther, and Ms. Madison Hynes, presenting on "Suspect Interviewing: Charter Rights, Coercion and Confession Evidence".
We welcome submissions for oral presentations within the realm of forensic psychology. We welcome 300-word proposals that are empirically based and involve new and emerging topics within psychology and law. Empirical research submissions that exclude data are discouraged. An oral presentation provides an 8-12 minute overview of the research and typically includes accompanying slides. Presentations may be pre-recorded or delivered live.
The deadline for submissions is
January 5th, 2025 at 11:59 pm
Atlantic Standard Time
. Abstract submissions will be peer-reviewed, and decisions will be announced by January 12, 2025. Registration for both presenters and attendees is
free.
The link for submissions and registration can be found at

and can also be found on the conference poster.
