About the Lab

The Wicked Problems Lab was established in the summer of 2020 to act as a hub for teaching and research opportunities for the Saint Mary’s community. We look to harness the power of data and advanced analysis to address the world’s wicked problems.

How we can help

We help with tools, data, and monitoring some of the world’s biggest challenges.

Whether you are an SMU student, faculty, researcher, or community partner, the lab offers cutting-edge software, curated datasets, and dedicated support from a full-time Research Associate.
