About
SMU puts a strong emphasis on the interdisciplinary nature of linguistics. The program is rooted in collaboration between the Departments of English Language and Literature, Languages and Cultures, Anthropology, and Psychology. In addition to its core requirements, our Linguistics Program offers a variety of electives allowing to explore languages from different perspectives. Students also have an opportunity to participate in exchange programs for academic credit in France, Germany, Japan, and other countries.
