Calendar and Events

The 2025 CSSG program runs from May 7 to June 25, 2025. In order to arrive in Germany in the morning of May 7, you will have to leave Canada on May 6 at the latest. 

On the CSSG program, you will take part in city walking tours, visit museums, do German folk dancing, attend operas and theatre plays (where you get to dress up smart), and do other recreational activities in and around Kassel. Our orientation is in the picturesque town of Waldeck and we go to a Bundesliga soccer match, Berlin, and at least one other city (in 2025: Schwerin, Rostock, & Lüneburg; in 2026: Bremen & Bremerhaven). When in Germany, we will have constant updates. It is up to you to make the most of your stay — students say the events we arrange are among the highlights of the program. 

All CSSG excursions are integrated with the learning goals, assignments, and final grade. The cost of these excursions is included in your program fee.
