How to Register:

  • Choose a course or certificate that will support you in your professional growth and development from within our list of topic areas, listed on our monthly calendar, or from within our full course listing
  • Click the "Register Online" button above to register for a course or certificate.
    In the form, you will asked for your contact details, to choose the name of the course or certificate you wish to register for, and method of payment (invoice or credit card).

Registration Information and Regulations:

  • Payment Due Dates
    • Payment is due in advance of the program start date. If your program requires advance readings/preparation, payment must be received before your material can be sent to you.
    • Fees/dates are listed on each program page. Fees include program material and a certificate of completion.
    • Fees, dates and facilitators are subject to change.
  • Cancellations and Refunds
    • Cancellations received a minimum of 3 weeks in advance of the course/program start date may receive a full refund.
    • Late cancellations (less than 3 weeks) will be subject to a 15% administration fee.
    • Non-attendance will incur the full program fee.
  • Course Re-Scheduling or Cancellations by EPD
    • If there are not sufficient registrations for a course or certificate, Saint Mary's University reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel. In such circumstances, two weeks' notice will be provided to registrants.
  • Switching Courses and Deadlines 
    • Transfers to another Saint Mary's University program may be arranged in advance of 3 weeks before program start date. Refunds for difference, if applicable, will be issued.
    • Late transfers (less than 3 weeks) to another Saint Mary's University program will be subject to a 15% administration fee.
  • Substitutions of Participants
    • Participants may be substituted if notice is provided in advance of the program start date.
  • Check-In Procedure / How Early to Start
    • For online courses:
      • You will receive an email in advance of your start date information on how to access your course link.
      • Please log in 15 minutes early to ensure your all is working well with your connections and log in.
      • Online programs class hours vary.
    • For in-person courses:
      • We highly recommend arriving early to ensure parking, locating the room, and getting settled in advance of the course start time. 
  • Certificate of Completion
    • Your electronic certificate of completion will be emailed at the end of the program.  If your course or certificate has indicated requirements for completion (ie. quizzes, work, discussion boards etc), your certificate will be emailed to you after all requirements are met.
