The Library has 10 Study Rooms available for current Saint Mary’s University students to use. Please use your SMU email and password to access the booking system.

Things to Know Before You Book

• Study Rooms can be booked up to 7 days in advance. 

• Maximum 2 hours per booking. 

• Maximum 2 bookings per day. 

• • If you exceed the two-per-day limit, the booking will be canceled and you will be notified by email. 

• Study Rooms are only available when the Library is open. 

• You may be required to present your SMU ID and booking confirmation to Library staff.

• If you need to modify your booking, you can do so through the link in your booking confirmation email.

Study Rooms

Room 1

• Location: Ground floor. 

• Features:  Automatic door, adjustable lighting and moveable furniture. 

• Maximum Occupancy: 4 

• Availability: Priority booking. If someone in your group would benefit from the features of this room, please email access@smu.ca with at least 48 hours notice. All students can book this room up to 24 hours in advance. 

Rooms 2 & 3

• Location: Ground floor. 

• Features: Wall mounted white board, wall mounted monitor (connectivity cords available at the front desk). 

• Maximum Occupancy: 8 

Rooms 4-9

• Location: Ground floor. 

• Features: Wall mounted white board. 

• Maximum Occupancy: 8 

Room 10

• Location: Second floor. The second floor of the Library is a silent study area. Study rooms are not soundproof. Please be considerate of others while you are using this space. 
• Features: Wall mounted white board, wall mounted monitor (connectivity cords available at the front desk).  
• Maximum Occupancy: 12
