Medavie Blue Cross is the provider for our Emergency Medical Travel Insurance for Saint Mary's University employees who meet the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility of Insurance

All participating members, their Spouses and Dependent Children must be covered under a Canadian federal and/or provincial health and hospitalization insurance plan and must be covered under Saint Mary’s University health and dental plan (or Health Spending Account, if over age 65).

Termination

Insurance terminates in the event of:

• Employee attains age of 70
