This multimedia facility offers:

  • a dozen computer stations with speakers and headphones
  • moveable modular tables for group projects
  • a wall-mounted screen for viewings and presentations
  • a Whisper Room sound/mixing studio
  • lockable storage cabinets for equipment and projects in progress.

The Humanities Media Lab can be adapted for a variety of teaching, research, group work and community outreach projects. Equipment also includes audio and video recording and editing equipment and software, specialized lighting, bookbinding gear and a full-colour laser printer and archival scanner.

Please note that faculty/classroom requests are the lab’s priority. Faculty members can also request bookings for student projects, but the faculty member is responsible for the space.
