Dr. Mohammad Zadeh got his Ph.D. in Business Administration (Accountancy concentration) from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal. Before joining to Sobey School of Business, Dr. Zadeh was a tenure-track assistant professor of accounting at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John for two years. He is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and a certified management accountant (CMA). He is also a chartered financial analyst (CFA) level 3 candidate.

Dr. Zadeh’s research interests include corporate social responsibility, corporate governance mechanisms, voluntary disclosures, and the application of data analytics tools for solving accounting and finance issues. Dr. Zadeh has published in different peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Forecasting, Finance Research Letters, Journal Behavioral and Experimental Finance, International Journal of Managerial Finance, Journal of Cleaner Production, Managerial Auditing Journal, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, International Journal of Accounting and Information Management, and Engineering Economics.
