What is Saint Mary’s Experience Record?

Saint Mary's Experience Record is a comprehensive document that summarizes a student's involvement in curricular and co-curricular experiential learning at Saint Mary's University. 

How do I use my Experience Record on Career360°:

There are different modules through Career360° that make up the Experience Record. Some experiences will be automatically populated on a student’s Experience Record, while others are submitted via the Co-Curricular Recognition (CCR) Program. 

Recognized experiences include: 

  1. Co-Curricular Recognized Experiences 
  2. Service Learning  
  3. Co-operative Education  
  4. Student Employment Initiative    
  5. Micro Experiential Learning 
  6. & more! 
  • Sync it to LinkedIn: Experiences will be added to the Licenses and Certifications section 
  • Use it on Your Resumé: Include a link to your Experience Record in your Cover Letter or Resumé bio.  
  • Use it in Interviews: Use the record as a reference as you prepare for your interview. 
  • Use it for Scholarship or Further Education Applications: Any approved experiences can be verified by CEL staff. 
  • Publish your Experience Record: Log in to Career360°. Click the black action circle and then Publish Experience Record. You will see a notification that has been created.  
  • View your Digital Experience Record: Click the black action circle and then  
    ‘View Experience Record’.  
  • Print/Access a PDF of your Experience Record: Click the black action circle and then ‘Print Experience Record’.  

What are Digital Experiential Badges?

A digital badge is an electronic symbol that represents a student’s achievements, skills and competencies. Digital badges are earned for successfully participating in and/or completing specific experiential learning opportunities. Undergraduate students can accumulate badges over their degree, enhancing professional visibility and promoting continuous learning and engagement. Badges are recorded on the Student Experience Record.

 

Badge Standards:

  • All experiences must be tracked and validated through Career360°.
  • All experiences must be completed and verified within the student’s undergrad degree.
  • Additional activities may be considered at the discretion of the Experiential Learning office.
  • Each badge is assigned five skills from the Career360° Competency Framework.

 

Badge Levels

  • Bronze: at least five unique experiential opportunities.
  • Silver: at least ten unique experiential opportunities.
  • Gold: at least fifteen unique experiential opportunities.
  • Platinum: at least twenty unique experiential opportunities. Students will also receive a signed certificate from the Associate Vice President of Student Affairs & Services.
